Casefile is one of our favorite podcasts because it covers one case per episode, goes deep in the research and covers all kinds of crimes from around the world and throughout time.
It’s lack of focus on one type of crime or one case keeps you interested from one episode to the next. It also gives you a ton of information if you want to dig into the case for yourself.
Some of the crimes this podcast covers are solved while others have gone decades without an arrest or conviction.
The host is an anonymous Australian and the podcast was was named as one of iTunes Best of 2016.
The overall presentation is fact based and you’re not going to get the passion or outrage like you would from Truth & Justice, but the thorough investigation and the unusual cases uncovered are more than satisfying.
There are currently north of 40 episodes to enjoy at the time of this writing and there isn’t one that we would skip!
